The browns have had a really good offseason. I saw the article on BR and I didn’t even realize the amount of good players they got

Biggest move was dumping Joe Woods! They added a lot of talent on that side of the ball and the defense never got better! Woods was terrible! Also, really liked seeing them add young talented offensive linemen while the Browns still have one of THE best offensive line coaches in the league!!

If #4 gets back to the 90s in PFF grade there isn’t a team they can’t beat. That’s different from saying they will win them all. But they shouldn’t lose many if Watson plays well.

The Browns look good on paper, however that does not necessarily translate to wins. Play calling and execution is what translate to wins, the Patriots were never the most talented team over the last 20+ years, but they have 6 Super Bowl wins because they played well together and executed their assignments very well. It remainst to be seen if the Browns as a team will have the discipline to execute their assignments. Sometimes players play for themselves and get out of their gap in order to try to make a play to pad their stats and end up hurting their team. Cornerbacks may gamble on trying to get an interception and be out of position on a key play. If the Browns can play with discipline and execute their assignments then they have the potential to be a very good team. But I have been a Browns fan since the 70s, and I have painfully learned that you don't win games on paper.

Like many have mentioned, the Browns have done well in the off-season before. What doesn't get mentioned enough is that the Browns have supposedly refocused their offense from the previous seasons reliance on the '12-personnel' style. As long as there are not too many injuries in critical positions, the offense could function very differently. That will allow Watson to be more like the Watson of a few years ago than anything.

Beyond that, the DC's reliance on zone for the D-backs and getting gutted up the middle with the front 7, concerns me more than Watson returning to form. If they have that fixed, and I believe they do, then there should be great improvement. And, again, a few injuries to key people could change everything. Let's hope for the best there.

The Browns ALWAYS win the offseason, then the season starts and it turns into horse droppings until it doesn’t,
Hopefully it’s this year that we make a serious run in the AFC

They are a serious Super Bowl contender if Watson is what they think he can be. One of the deepest rosters in football with playmakers all over

It better pay off I've been patient with them for so long this could be the year

Browns have to play 60 minutes. Last year they easily win 10 games if they don't collapse, miss field goals, etc. This year much more talent... so they have to play tough, hard, like a team. For Browns that key seems easier said than done

Siaki Ika was a solid pick up to back up Tomlinson

Secondary stunk in zone but was very good in man to man, Schultz Def use's man to man.

The Browns have had great offseasons before, but they failed in 2019, and 2021 when expectations were there to pay off. Hope they finally shed that label this year.

DTR’s job is to play scout QB and be another QB coach on the sidelines.

If Zadarius Smith leaves for FA after this year do the Browns get a compensatory pick? If so this is a slam dunk move.

Josh Dobbs is no slouch. Why is everyone focused solely on Watsons success? Did you miss Jacoby Brissetts Browns entirely? The Browns won without him last year. Surely, he'll be better, than JB was, with more weapons. We make mistakes when we look only at single factors. Surely, they'll be better on the defensive side of the ball. It's like you don't want to admit that they are the on-paper favorites to win the division and advance in the playoff round(s). Success doesn't come down to DW.
