I was tears listening to this. I have a special needs sister; she has a genetic mutation. I always felt pain in my heart growing up seeing her and my parents suffer. We were poor and didn’t have the means to take care of her or pay for her surgeries. My parents gave everything for her.

As a child, I often questioned God and wondered why this happened. But as she grew, she became a living saint in my eyes. The way she prays and sings hymns feels like an angel glorifying God. Her love for Christ and Mother Mary is immeasurable.

She is the reason I am a practicing Catholic today and now pursuing a religious vocation.

Devin has changed my life and the lives of so many men. For 7 years, we have had an EARLY Sat. (every other Sat.) Men's group meeting called the Fathers of St. Joseph, after the apostolate that he started. His podcast talks are the weekly discussion points. They cover so many topics on fatherhood, spiritual manhood, etc. We also did his consecration to St. Joseph book together and his other older book, LEAD. The group has now branched into 2. We have over 65 men involved in 2 separate Sat morning meetings. We are in Northern NJ. His insights are just so helpful. And he's doing work that I think a priest would be unable to do. Men need these types of groups, where prayer is central, and discussion about fatherhood is had regularly. Thank you Devin, for saying yes.

Devin and Kim were our mentor couple as we prepared for marriage many years ago. Amazing amazing family. Authentic, honest, and such a great example of openness to the Holy Spirit and submitting to His Holy will. He loves with the heart of the Father.

Sometimes I feel like the dad who treats his children poorly. I'm a stay-at-home dad with health issues and 4 little kids who are just so crazy and so much work. The masculine instinct is to conquer problems, not nurture them. I lose my patience so often and I'm so stressed and depleted that I resort to being scary and unpleasant and causing discomfort so my children choose better behavior-- I just feel too worn down to take the gentile nurturing route. I break my own heart every day when i catch myself being a jerk and I want so badly to be more loving and nurturing. Please pray for me and my family.

The beauty of this pod cast is that it convicts and bring me to deep sorrows and repentances as a woman. Me now, a solo mum who has sinned terribly and reaping the fruit of that. But God is still so good in these times more than I could ever deserve or earn he is so loving to us.
