I think the reason most people didn't know about this was because (while it's cool you can do it), why would you want to when the game clearly encourages Stealth? Blowing up a crane is the opposite of stealth after all (but it also makes traversing this area easier).

Yes, I knew about that. What did surprise me was during my playthrough last year is that there is an elevator in that room that you can use to get back up!

Fun fact: there's a small elevator lift at the far end on where you enter the door. In order to use it you will have to go down stairs on the 2nd floor and enter a small shaft and it will take you up. It weird that you can't use the elevator on the 3rd floor you'll need to go down to lift it up but if you exit the blast furnace the lift will return on it's original place.

Man I missed so much school thanks to this game back when I was a kid.

This was one of my favorite lvls, I loved sneaking up on that one guard overlooking the pit, I'd grab and toss him in and once I said, "Come with me and I'll Set you Free!"

I remember my older Brother saying, Damn!!!!
Lol. I played it so much, I probably could have given classes on it. This and years later Halo.

Oh man in Halo CE, I remember my friends and I all trying to kill me and time and time again I would get'ehm all and with only the MKI pistol. I think that's what it was called.
Rusty now.

Another great game you never hear people talk about was Syphon Filter, though I think this was it Subtitle it had a title name...

Now that game I was so good at a friend said it was like watching a cartoon.❤

Did you know at this very same entrance you wait for a solder knock him out drag him along the line of the tier gate then throw him into the pit of lava a brown bow will appear on the tier floor which is the infinite ammo bandanna
