Tom: Sandra we have been discussing the various criteria that employers are looking for that prospective candidate should be aware of. Where does a DUI really fit into the picture in terms of the impact from both sides?

Sandra: You know what that's such a great question Tom. A DUI can have a huge impact on whether you get the dream job that you like or not. If it's for the Department of Transportation or a DOT position or a sales position. Anything real be driving a car or a top level position at the company. It can affect whether you get the job or not so it's very important to make good decisions so that you don't have that happen.

Tom: Does the DUI ever disappear from your record?

Sandra: Well it depends on what state that it happens in and how long it is on your driving record and it depends on the level of DUI that it is if it's a misdemeanor or not so really does depend so can have an impact for a long period of time into your future.
