As a 70 year old now, I've never forgotten the sound of a Bonneville being gunned up the road by a local lad who'd bought one in 1960. I was 9 years old at the time and my brother and my cousin were riding a Matchless 350 and an Ariel Leader respectively and this was, as they said, the first super bike of the era. Truly unforgettable.

You can see that the engineers priority was function over fashion e.g. the fenders rap around 1/4 of the wheel to keep off the debris off the engine, there is also a rack on the fuel tank, the seat looks like it is thicker with more foam, and it came with a center stand.

Just now I read about the issues and the way Triumph is dealing with them... I was considering buying a T120... And after a couple of hours of research, I will wait for an opportunity for a BMW R69S...
So disappointed by the British...
Gearboxes, Rotors, Electrics... Riders that use to ride Bonnies for decades and have a couple of them are so disappointed that just left the Brand...
And honestly, I don't believe you can trust Triumph.... Triumph was Triumph a long time ago.... 🙄
