CES 2013: BlackBerry 10 Gestures

BlackBerry 10 is a collaboration of different companies RIM bought over the years and licensing agreements. The browser is made by the guys from Torch. It's a company RIM bought few years ago. UI design is by the Swedish firm TAT. Other purchases obviously the OS is based on QNX, video editing company JayCut, Gist for contact management and others. Rim is also licensing SwiftKey word prediction, 7 Digital for music, Evernote and other companies.

It takes your BlackBerry users and gives them a way better and simpler to use phone, that doesn't take 5 minutes to start up.

I only know 5 people that got rid of their BlackBerry for an iPhone this week, , here in Waterloo.. hometown of the BlackBerry
