that worst of PG Era might hit way harder than this one. I got another video coming today about a Survivor Series event, it's 100 percent done, edits all that. We just need to watch it before posting it. Hope you enjoy this one

PG Era was apart of my childhood. It was so good watching Jeff Hardy finally winning the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship’s, Shawn Michael’s “REAL” last match against Undertaker, Mark Henry’s excellent Hall of Pain run and most importantly CM Punk’s rise to one of the top guys in the wrestling. What a time to be alive

2011 as a whole was a strange year imo as a wrestling fan. I remember first seeing the pipebomb and even if i was young, punk really got my words out how i felt about the company without being too hurtful

To be fair late 2008-mid 2009 was still good but around the time of Survivor Series 2009, the product really took a nosedive.

2008 one of the best years of WWE. So many memorable moments from start to finish.
1. Jeff Hardy's Swanton Bombs off 30 feet.
2. Cena surprise return as 30th entrant at Royal Rumble.
3. RAW's Elimination Chamber one of the finest ever.
4. Great WrestleMania with Nature Boy's retirement.
5. Edge throws Taker from the ladders over the tables at One Night Stand.
6. All of the rivalry between HBK and Y2J.
7. Cena and Batista feud with a solid first time ever SummerSlam match.
8. Taker and Edge's Hell in a Cell match.
9.Randy Orton Returns as a Viper and builds legacy.
10. Last but not the least Hardy's world title win at very end of that year.

Wrestlemania 26 really felt like a goodbye to the Ruthless Aggression era

I was 9 around the beginning of the attitude era and I fell off just as the ruthless aggression era began (I missed out on some great stuff). Then suddenly had the itch to watch again around 2008. How ironic that I started watching literally at the beginning of the PG Era. While it was frustrating in the boxing in of storylines and character/in-ring capabilities, I still have a fond memory of it. Mainly because when the good things happened (I.e. a lot of things mentioned in this video), it made those moments SO much more special. And as a lifelong Undertaker fan — he was the Godfather at this time. And even at his age, his star was brighter than ever. I’m glad we’re in a new day in the WWE, but I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for the great times during this era.

Many people always like to talk about the bad but never the good in this era and that pisses me off sometimes. It still holds a place in my heart because it’s what I grew up on.

The early days of PG Era had some entertaining moments like Taker vs HBK, Angry Suit Jericho, Bald/Legacy Orton, Hardy vs Punk, Cena vs Orton, Laycool, Punk's Pipebomb, Orton vs Christian, Cena vs Punk, Jeff won the WWE title, HBK vs Jericho, Batista's underrated heel run, Hall of Pain, Cena vs Rock, DX vs Legacy and new stars like Bryan, Kofi, Miz, Del Rio, Sheamus, Cody, Eve Torres, Maryse, R-Truth and Ziggler made a name for themselves.

Another thing that made the PG era a little weak was the fact that they decided to end the brand split for some weird reason. That took away the interesting part about the shows and made us see the same people on the same show every week that got so annoying and boring.

The most memorable things from the early of era 2008- 2011 in my opinion are john cena's return, jeff hardy chasing the wwe title, chris jericho turning heel and punching HBK's wife, baldy orton's fued with john cena, jeff's fued with cm punk, rick flair, shawn micheals and edge retiring, bootista leaving, the nexus & cm punk's fued with john cena

I am doing a wwe marathon i started last year with 1997 and now i reached 2010. I must say that 2009 was one of the best years even for PG, it was really cool and i dont undestand the hate.

The early days of PG were very mixed. While I was a kid during this time, and I enjoyed a good chunk of it, a lot of it definitely felt lacking due to no more TV-14. The rest of 2008 was fun for me, and a good chunk of 2009 was great for me, minus a few things and a lot of 2010 minus a few highlights was a bit of a forgettable one for me, and had it not been for Punk’s Pipebomb, 2011 wouldn’t have been as special as it was. These were odd times, but I had fun somehow.👍

WrestleMania 26 was the last Mania that still felt like a WWF show

Edge and undertaker was definitely in the PG era. Started when he cashed in in 2007 but really picked up at WM24-Summer slam . One of the greatest rivalries of all time

I would say after Wrestlemania 26, that's when everything started to suck, and almost everyone from the ruthless aggression era was gone

i love wrestlingpremier's videos because I think we are of simular age and therefore have the same perspective on certain eras in wrestling. I personally loved the PG era because i was at the age they were targeting at the time! Jerry Lawler vs Michael Cole at mania 27 was the most excited I've been for a match even to this day 🤣 and I'm not ashamed to admit it lool
