I’m a Christian bloke so there’s a bunch of things I disagree with Ricky about, none of which would stop me having a beer with him to talk them over.
But he’s spot on with this idea philosophically. You know what happens when someone is offended? Absolutely nothing.

I had a crow had the audacity to come to me and ring me out to dry (in her mind), over the word "retarded". She wanted me to stop using it, because she had a disabled son, and she took offense. Ok, and? I wasnt speaking to her, I wasnt referring to her son nor other disabled people. IM disabled, and there are SEVERAL meanings to this word.

I was having a conversation with my buddy in a restaurant where I gave my opinion on a subject and this KAREN walks over to tell me she was offended by what I had to say. I stood up and a loud as I could told her, “ If you minded your own business instead of eavesdropping other conversations, you wouldn’t be so offended. GO AWAY!!! WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE COME FROM AND CAN WE SEND THEM BACK?!!!
