Why can't I use -b/2a ? Since the graph opens upwards, this would give us the amount of products to get the minimum marginal cost, then plug it in and get the marginal cost.

The difference between the two answers is 4(=50-46), which is not a small difference . So, I just wondered if any of them could be used in calculating the MC of the 5th unit.

he is like super wrong...the answer is 50 not 45!!! and thats way more than the quadratic function that he used...

And he keeps saying "off the top of my head" to look smart when clearly he is looking into a book..
