It’s the fourth Thursday of November, which means Thanksgiving Day in America. The AAA estimates that up to 55 million Americans will travel to their families this holiday season.
4.5 million Americans plan to fly like those turkeys fortunate enough not to be on the dining table.
And 1.43 million Americans will travel by train, bus, or even go on a cruise.
The roads won’t be easy to navigate, with up to 49 million Americans opting to drive to their family.
And if you live in New York City, hopefully, you made it without having to spend hours in gridlocked traffic, as it’s considered the worst traffic in the country.
Unfortunately, the National Safety Council estimates that 518 people will not make it to their festivities due to an accident during their travels.
