Beyonce Gives EMOTIONAL & Inspirational Speech After Lemonade Wins At 2017 Grammy Awards

Following her beautiful live performance of “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles,” Beyonce was called back on stage to accept the Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album. This was her second win of the night seeing as though earlier in the evening she also won Best Music Video for “Formation.” Now for acceptance speeches, everyone knows that artists are given a very short amount of time and Beyonce wanted to make sure she made all of her points so she wrote them down and rightfully so because her words were powerful. Take a look:
She went on to say that children of the world should see themselves represented so that they have no doubt that they are QUOTE – “…beautiful, intelligent, and capable. This is something I want for every child and every race and I feel it’s vital that we learn from the past and recognize our tendencies to repeat our mistakes.” Beyonce also explained her intention for Lemonade saying QUOTE -“We all experience pain and loss and often we become inaudible. My intention for the film and album was to create a body of work that will give a voice to our pain, our struggles, our darkness and our history, to confront issues that make us uncomfortable.” Such a powerful speech. And I can’t talk about it without mentioning how adorable it was when Beyonce came back onstage to accept the award and Jay-Z pointed and said to Blue “there’s mommy” and B looked at her and said “hey baby.” I died.

Lemonade will be my album of the year, and I'm sure to plenty others. The album helped me cope with loss, anger and let go of the pain. She has been providing top notch notes and vocals since destinys childs (20 years +) and the newer generation of audiences call her overrated yet love to bend their knees and get ready to twerk when the beat drops to rhiannas work.
