This series is to share information on how to do hardware hacking and how to do reverse engineering. The series is useful both for beginners and experts.

Hardware Hacking will be described with practical hacking activities on real devices following a process based on:

1. Information gathering of hardware and software

2. Building an emulation environment where to run interesting binaries and reverse engineer them, if needed

3. Analyzing how the device works

4. Hack the device and modify its firmware

Fantastico Valerio! This series is gold! I'm a software guy but I've always been curious about hardware and firmware security, keep it up!

I have tried myself to get along with hardware hacking but the contents found are too much technical or lacks where to get started. This video series is a great example to teach how hardware hacking needs to be carried out. Thank You so much keep making. Much love all the way from NEPAL.

Yes, i loved your video! Just so you know, your English is well spoken. You speak well. Very structured and articulate. When I was learning Spanish, which I am not as proficient in as you are with learning Spanish as you are to English, I enjoyed feedback. Hopefully you do too. Dont think that you arent clear bc you speak well. Better than some English speakers. I could be wrong but it seems like you were trying to speak clearly that you come off as quasi monotone. I say this bc my Italian friends thanked me for saying this to them a while back when they were having to get used to English. They clammed up and they thought their English was awful. It was really good. like yours. My advice to you is to relax and not try to speak well on something you already do well. I said this so you would relax or you will sound robotic. I respect your time and think you would want to hear this. You wanted feedback.

I know my Italian friends are so tense when they had to speak English as their main language. When they were together they got so happy when they spoke Italian again and are using their hands all the time haha. I almost learned Italian so I could see them normally but fortunately they got comfortable around me and then they became themselves. They were very happy when I told them and thanked

Perhaps I am wrong and I have misjudged. Either way, It is good news for you. I have subscribed.

awesome tip at 13:27, using chalk to improve the readability of what's written on an IC. I also saw pictures of significantly improved photography /recording of PCBs by using polarized light.

btw, the rotating zoom at 13:40 gave me TRON vibes :D

The FCC site is such a treasure trove of information. It sucks that some companies have caught on or don't have everything listed because the FCC has let them hide it, but it's still a ton of information anyway.
