Yes, it stays dry because when you put it in with the top going first, it creates an air pocket where the paper towel was so it stays dry.

It's easy bc water has no air holes so the air in the glass can't escape and the tissue stays dry

It is good trap the air from the cup because it ain't going to get the paper towel away because you're the air is getting is holding that water out of the cup to make no water in the cup there's plain air .
