This is the only Samsung phone with everything.
If you go for A15 you loose a lot, camera quality, gyro sensor and stereo speakers,
If you go for A35 you loose the headphone port.
So this the perfect middle ground for budget phone.
I hope they don't wipe out the A2x series

I've upgraded from an a13 4G to a25 5G, and so far, it's been a very good phone.

The A20 was one of the greatest budget devices of all time. Leapfrogged all the competition while drastically improving from the J Series devices.

My friend bought the a05 and it looks beautiful, I helped him set it up and I was really impressed. Budget phones have come a long way.

The greatest advantage of the A25 over the A15 that you forgot mentioning aside from the SOC is the OIS of the main 50MP camera. Among us photographers, the OIS is always a staple.

I got the A25 for my grandma after she rode her A01 into the ground and it's really a lot of phone for not too much money. The cameras are good enough for her to snap every photo and even some videos, it keeps up with her doom scrolling of YouTube, TikTok, and her news feeds, and TracFone had it for $200 with a year's service included. If you're not a power user and just need a decent phone while saving money, this was an impressive one!

this is my daily smartphone now. i broke the screen and I had to DIY the screen replacement process. still works fine. it's in a reasonable price range and still had the audio jack. although the camera is very sluggish compared to my previous galaxy S8+.

notch isn't an issue. 🤷 coz some people still complain about it.

I have the A35 myself but I can see the A25 being a good choice depending on the region and pricing. Where I live the A15 only comes with 4/128GB memory configuration, while the A25 has 6/128GB or 8/256GB, so it's a good choice if you want the better specs and extra features, plus the 3.5 jack, and save extra cash over the A35. I agree it's kinda weird how Samsung just doesn't standardize their lineup and but maybe it helps keep the manufacturing and distribution cost down. At the end of the day all these phones are pretty good for the money so I don't think anyone will be disappointed purchasing any of these models.

I Actually Have The Galaxy A25 5G & It Works Really Well It Reminds Me Of My Galaxy A15 5G But A Little Bit Better

I like how the budget phones look like the expensive ones. Instead of looking like cheap crap.

Got the 8/256GB variant (which apparently they don't even sell on the US) a month ago for exactly $200, and coming from a real old budget device, I only see it as an improvement in nearly all fronts. I still got my headphone jack and will be prepared whenever I need 5G in the future, so it doesn't feel like a bad buy out-of-the-box

Yeah, that chip got rightfully criticized on the A53, but outside the slight heat spike when playing ZZZ (or almost anything after a couple hours), I think Samsung has done a decent job addressing some of the original flaws it had the first time

They should just simplify with A1X, A3X, and A5X as their budget options. They should be able to offer something at any price point if they just use storage size as mid-tiers: A15 128GB for $200, 256GB for $250, A35 for $300, etc. Provides a nice clear distinction for the consumers as to what they are getting at each price point without having price fights within the same category for very similar devices.

I've had the Samsung a25 5g for 2 weeks now. I bought it from Amazon South Africa for $226. I would recommend it 👌

In India A55 and S23 FE are nearly the same price of around $400 so most people are preferring S23 FE or are just stretching the budget to around $500 to get the S23 instead. An expensive A-series phone like A55 isn't selling well in price sensitive markets like India so definitely I think like in the US they didn't launch A55 this year same is gonna be followed next year in India. In India we easily get the last year's or 2 year old Base Flagship or Flagship killers under $500 from Samsung, OnePlus and Google

Should just leave it as A1x for budgets, A5x for midrange and Syy for the flagship.

Those photos don't look mid, they look pretty damn awesome. Do the flagships take better photos? Sure they do but they aren't £600 worth of better.

I am very pleased with my A25 -- 6GB RAM | 128GB Storage --- It came with android 14 so it will be getting android upgrades for a while. Wi-Fi and cell tower connections are very good. Texting is very clear. Apps works great on it. You can buy more expensive and more prestigious Samsung phones. But all you will get is a faster CPU and more storage AND better cameras. For photography and video enthusiasts You need a superior Samsung. But for 90% of people, the A25 cameras are very good enough. It takes very good FHD video for me.

I think a big problem with Samsung trying to "force" people to buy their higher-end phones is that a budget conscious consumer isn't going to see a lack of a competitive midrange/budget Samsung phone and decide to buy the flagships or the FE, they're going to decide to buy from a different company altogether who does offer competitive, good value phones at the price range they're after. Especially in markets such as India which Samsung really cannot afford to lose
