Zhou Jingxin: “I want to create something different every time.”

Zhou Jingxin has, in the course of a decade spent exploring new languages of painting, developed a brand new style that he called “ink sculpture”. Some fellow artists queried the highlights he’d painted on the nose. Even in the face of criticism it was the fruit of his determination to continue innovating, because he wants to create something different every time.
