The issue is not the state of the vehicles but rather the character and discipline of the crew which is not being addressed. It would make sense to fine them for killing the young man than to inspect their vehicles, most are new anyway.

I agree with most of the comments. Those buses are new and don't need any inspection. What they should do is psychological assessments to check mental stress levels and if those people can handle pressure. Those who fail should not be allowed to do the job.
