Time for another Chi-Fi IEM review, and on the desk today we have the TRN TA1 IEMs. They are built solidly, feel premium and feature a Knowles balanced armature driver combined with a dynamic driver. I have been using them solidly for a week now, and here are my thoughts!

When plugging these into the ifi DAC, you mentioned a resistor between the IEMs and the DAC... Please can you link to the one you bought? I've been trying to find something similar and that looks perfect!

Thanks, my son’s school has said he will need earphones in September, will probably pick up either these or the KZNs. Will be interested to hear your thoughts on the BL03s. I heard a lot of people raving about the BL04s but I found them to be awful, bright to a fault, entirely lacking in bass.
