With five titles and 67 race wins, ABT Sportsline ranks among the most successful DTM teams. However, the long-standing team from Kempten in the Allgäu region in the south of Germany and led by Hans-Jürgen Abt and Thomas Biermaier still has unfinished business. Therefore, ABT was among the first to submit an entry for the 2021 season. Even though there is still a while to go before the season gets underway at Monza in mid-June, the ‘Operation title’ is already in full swing. Two brand-new Audi R8 LMSs are lined up in the workshop, the team is already practicing intensely for the pit stops. The drivers will be announced shortly and the team will be taking on its first test sessions.
