A Cricket Scoreboard Malfunction Solved with a Three Variable Linear Diophantine Equation

In this somewhat fun puzzle (not based on a real event or real people), a cricket scoreboard malfunction creates confusion as to the correct score of one of the batsmen, Shubman Kohli. Fortunately the umpires knew how to solve Linear Diophantine Equations in three variables, which they solved by the method outlined in our previous video:

'How to Solve a Three Variable Linear Diophantine Equation'

Despite there being an infinite number of solutions to the Diophantine Equation, the constraints as detailed in the puzzle allow us to pinpoint the only feasible solution and thus calculate the correct score of the batsman.

Even though this is a fun puzzle, the maths is of a fairly difficult standard, and this question would not be out of place in an entrance examination (or face to face interview) for a top university.
