When my dad passed, I requested for this song to be played throughout his service of songs. He labored so much on all of us, and when God blessed us his children and we began to pamper him with everything he never had, dementia stole him from us. He then lived his 70s with dementia without knowing & understanding everything we were doing. Although he passed at the age of 80, he hurts so deep when I remember his last decade, that he wasn’t mentally aware of all we did to repay him for his labor of love.
However, anytime I listen to this song, it brings healing and brings comfort that my dad is resting with the angels.
