For ps4 I have the fix 1st: u wanna restart the game do any system updates/2nd load up the unable to connect world again/go to the saved data in setting and delete the corrupted file it should be saved in the online if not make a copy of the corrupt world/unable to connect world/ then upload it from the online storage

I have this problem using my ps4.
I can't join my friend's world (they are on ps4 too) or host any world when I'm using my home's connection (wifi or Lan cable).
But I can solve that using my phone as an hotspot, unfortunately my Iliad connection isn't great, so it lags a lot (for me when I join, and for who join my world).
Since Playstation edition turns to Bedrock, Minecraft became shit.

The issue for me isn't network related... It's PlayStation related. PS doesn't play nice with others. Game lets me connect on other platforms to anyone not using a PlayStation. Solution: Smash/throw away PS and move on with gaming life.

the problem might be your NAT type so just hotspot your ps4
