As a circumnavigator ( 5.5 knot average) I find your helm station and all the technology astounding! It is foolhardy to leave the latest and greatest behind like they do in the GGR- .I am thoroughly amazed how those carbon fiber “foils” don’t just snap off. I guess where your going next will be the next big test of those. Good luck to all

The ups and downs, guts and glory .... great highlights and recap ... hard to pick from all of the options, but Well done!!! to convey spirit of the ocean race ... from a Lake Erie, Maumee River, Flathead Lake recreational sailor :) ... HUGE IMOCA60 fan since Vendee Globe 2020.

The quality of any footage we see of the race is great, I am just disappointed that with all photos and video footage generated by 5 reporters on board, this is all we see. What about the arrivals of the other 4 boats in CT? It all seems to be a repeat of what we have seen already. I hate to be negative and critical, but unfortunately I am less and less interested in following this event.

The request to replace foils on 11 Hour Racing seems a bit strange. The boats have been tested a lot before the race. Yet on the first short leg to Cape Verde cracks started to get visible. This signals some problem in manufacturing of those, but why were it not discovered before the race? Why did previous test not show any problem? If being in race committee I would need to ask a lot of questions, and get to know how foils have been tested earlier. How it was determined that the foils would last the whole race. Seems a bit fishy, but maybe not so in reality.

Unfortunately this coverage of the race has no rhyme or reason. Daily there is video of previous segments. I have no idea what’s going on daily. We want to live in the edge with these sailors. Up to date position reports. Plus more. It seems you have the communication with the boats. The data is available on land. Be nice to see an improvement.

I’m joining the critics of the coverage this Ocean Race. Highlights? For who? Apparently, for those with little preceding interest or knowledge of ocean racing. Snapshots with almost no context….. where the big drama and real story is.
