BUYER BEWARE: Simple Lawn Solutions

I look at the price of a gallon of Simple Lawn Solutions 16-4-8 Liquid Fertilizer to determine if its a good value. After doing the cost for this product and what you get for it; Simple Lawn Solutions is not a good value. It is overpriced, and delivers no additional boost to your lawn that other less expensive liquid fertilizers provide. This company spams Instagram with their products, and yet they are no more effective than say the N-ext products, or even the Scotts Liquid Lawn Food. Ive used these products and my lawn is no better off, but the money in my wallet is not.

not sure where you purchased it from, but I've never paid that much for Simple Lawn Solutions' lawn booster. I've been using it for years and it, by far better than bio-enhanced was crap.

I thought it was cheaper, says 12500 sq ft for 1 month for 60 bucks is cheaper than 70-85 buck craft granular fert that last a month, this is why im trying liquid tomorrow for first time, I have no idea how to compare liquid to granular, I can only trust the label amounts on liquid. I wouldnt think N lbs/ozs per 1000 would be the same

I don’t use simple lawn fertilization products except the iron. They do make the best humic products, though. My lawn is the best on the block. I use any brand slow release fertilizer and supplement with simple lawn solutions humic products and it works!

Is liquid fertilizer not technically more potent because it is absorbed through the plant foliage and thus more efficient and readily available than putting normal large amounts of granular fertilizer on the ground, but would be short lived and short acting as opposed to the less efficient but longer lasting granular? Just trying to learn more about it and the differences between the two

One gallon of SLL 16-4-8 covers approximately 12K SqFt so the math on total cost is incorrect…you wouldn’t need to spend $200 to cover 4K SqFt.

That’s $50 for 1 Gallon that covers 12K SqFt. Based on recommended rates of SLL 16-4-8, it’s actually about $4.16 per 1K SqFt. So that translates to about $16.64 to cover 4K SqFt with SLL 16-4-8.

Whereas, 1 gallon of GCFC 18-0-1 GreenPunch covers approximately 8K SqFt. Thats roughly $25 for 1 gallon leading us to $3.12/1K SqFt…therefore, GCFC 18-0-1 GP is indeed cheaper per 1K SqFt.

However the argument that it will cost $200 of SLL 16-4-8 to over 4K SqFt is mathematically incorrect.
