Sandy River Reservoir near Farmville, Virginia

The Sandy River Reservoir is a 740 acre impoundment located in Prince Edward County, near the town of Farmville, in central Virginia. Construction of this lake was completed in 1984, making it one of Virginia's newest lakes. Thanks for watching!

That is a great largemouth bass lake, I have caught a few nice ones there in the past...I need to get back out there and fish it again in the future. Thanks for sharing!

Another beautiful area! Our trip is almost all set. Next Saturday night in WV at a motel. The next 3 nights will be at First Landing State Park next to Virginia Beach. After that will will do a two day 1 night backpacking at Spruce Knob/Seneca Creek and then back home for the weekend.
