Lyrics:

Warm air goes up
And then cools down
Vapor it holds
These water droplets form clouds

Higher clouds are made of ice crystals
Lower down, water drop particles

Cirrus clouds
High up, thin and wispy, good weather out
Cirrostratus
Sheetlike, high and flat, looks overcast
Signaling rain, coming the next day
Cirrocumulus
Small cotton ball-like puffs
That also are high up
Like scales of fish they look
Cumulonimbus
They’re clouds of thunderstorms
Vertical growth, growth, growth

Warm air rises then cools down
Many water droplets gather round
Small and light they stay floating about
Collection of these droplets forms a cloud

Cirrus, high up
Stratus, blanket
Cumulus, puffs piled up
Nimbus means, there’s a storm to come

Stratus clouds
Low, flat, cover the whole sky
The weather out
Is drizzling rain light

Cumulus
Rounded, white, puffy
Develops
On days that are clear and sunny

Altocumulus
Gray and white patches in round masses
Nimbostratus
They’re dark, thick and gray, they’re pouring rain
Spanning large space, mid to low layers
Stratocumulus
It’s like you took a knife
And spread them cross the sky
Low puffy, gray or white
Then Altostratus
Mid-level, covering
Bluish gray, they are gray, they are gray

Warm air rises then cools down
Many water droplets gather round
Small and light they stay floating about
Collection of these droplets forms a cloud

Cirrus, high up
Stratus, blanket
Cumulus, puffs piled up
Nimbus means, there’s a storm to come
