I feel like AEW needs to start investing in more bookers to help talent manage and set up their storylines. Bryan's right, all of the details should have been ironed out between both companies well before Sammy even started traveling to appear on Impact.

When DC has two comics cross over, there have to be months of coordination to make sure the timelines and continuities line up, and both creative teams must have input on how the character is written. How on earth did AEW and Impact set up an angle for Sammy Guevara and start to execute it before everyone was clear on what would be going on? This is bush league kinda stuff going on

Sammy leaving the inner circle is a good thing because now he can become a bigger star on his own as he deserves to be. He’s done very well since AEW started, I never knew of him until AEW but watching him progress he’s done better then most the roster.

That's what I'm most confused about.. Surely in an angle as big as Sammy leaving the Inner Circle you don't tell him to simply drive to Nashville with no prior creative knowledge. Why wasn't he made aware of plans before he left? Don Callis and Tony Khan should have had it mapped out, let him know the plan.. If he agrees he simply drives down.. Goes to work... Progresses his story. Instead he doesn't know.. Gets there and creative tell him their plan which goes over badly and it all falls apart. Come on guys youre better than this.
