The beauty of A Song of Ice and Fire is how every main character have their own separate stories and personal "world" where at some point, way later into the plot, the characters we grew fond of start to meet, delve and explore each other's "worlds".

It's like mixing two unrelated books of different genre into one and we get something better.

so excited for the new season!! the cast looks great! i didn't recognize some of them.
i also like how we actually learned something interesting from the people of the carpet, instead of them giggling about their dresses or being coy. i can't wait for next weekend!!!

I kinda view the tv show as an au version of the books so I'm actually okay with them not going off the books as long as they keep the main plot line straight

Part of me is like dying that they're leaving some stuff out but part of me is like well this can be a good thing because now I have two things to look forwards too. Like not just the books being spoken on a set but an actual Song of Ice and Fire series and a separate tv show called Game of Thrones. And I've read the books now and half of the fun for me before I read them was all the shocking plot twists so if they go their own way than now that can still happen.

I was at the local cinema going to see Guardians of the Galaxy and there was a big tall man, a bit heavy and same facial hair as Hodor but darker, I walked up to him and said "Hodor!".
He looked at me squinting his eyes as if he didnt know what I said!
"U watch Game of Thrones?", I asked...
"No!" was his reply!
I walked away kinda shaking my head and he was still looking like a big question mark!
