Sounds more like a family or mother club than a gang.

I've dove with these sharks with the dive boat "Aquatic Safaris'' out of Wilmington N.C. They are quite calm and slow moving during the day. Night time is when they feed more and come somewhat more aggressive. I was able to get some quick video of some of them with my sealife camera. Good times with my dad...

There are underwater live cams in North Carolina where you can watch sharks in real time. Mostly tiger sharks, mostly in groups of 3 or 4, sometimes more. They seem to congregate to be able to "rest" ("sleep"). Most shark species are just food for other shark species, it very much looks like tiger sharks are at one of the bottom rungs of the ladder and to protect themselves from the bigger guys, the femals gather in groups. So "gang" really is not a fitting word at all.

They are the gangsters of the deep sea. They have planning to raid that boat. 😅
