Yea, this happened to me the day before yesterday. I opened ticket and Bethesda replied saying they're aware of the issue. Really sucks and shocking they didn't discover this in the Beta testing...

I did the quest with the weapon on me before i knew of the bug, and had no issues. I guess I was lucky.

I had it in my inventory before doing the quest and still got it, but my friend had the bug happen and couldn't get the weapon schematic due to it completing automatically.

Lol the same shit happened ages ago with the excavator, if you had already crafted parts the quest wouldnt finish. Even if the armor was on my stash, only when i got rid of everything excavator related i was able to finish the quest

When I talked to rank 2 Theo not only did I have the rifle in my inventory, but I also had not done any of the Vault 63 quest line. So Theos quest auto completed and I never got the plan to make the rifle.

It doesn't auto complete, but it will if you talk to him again, go though the quest as usual, ignoring the quest option to turn in early!

Not related but do you know if Josie's brahmin feed bonus can stack or you can only have one active? The dialogue option makes it seems like you can only have one. The feeds are quite pricey!

I encountered this bug, but all i had to do was actually run the quest and it unlocked the plan for the actual rifle.

Be me, have four carbines an hour sell from your vender. Sell the plans from Theo just to make a few extra caps too. 😶

Does the schematic glitch out even if you have the v63 in your stash box inventory instead of on you?
