Man, I was skeptical at first, but psilocybin legit helped me break out of a cycle that therapy alone couldn’t touch. It’s like it showed me where the light switch was in a dark room.

"Cordyceps can't control a human mind." This is exactly what a cordyceps would say.

Lions Mane is a God send to old farts like me with memory problems. I was amazed that it worked so well. I'm 70 years old and couldn't remember people's names, even my two dogs' names until I started on the Lion's Mane. After a few days of taking it, a fog lifted from my brain so I could also think more clearly. Walking the dogs and any exercise you can do also helps a lot!

Micro-dosing does not usually involve anything "highly dangerous and highly addictive". Also narcotics and psychedelics are not at all the same.

My recovery journey was greatly enhanced by the therapeutic benefits of mushrooms. Other psychedelics like DMT and LSD have also proven to be remarkable.

I did multiple sessions of psilocybin to cure my long life depression, and it changed my life. For the first time in my life I finally got a "working" brain. I had the ok of my psychiatrist, je took time to read the multiple studies on the subject.

Around 1995 or so I spent a year micro dosing psilocybin mushrooms. Not enough to get blasted but enough to lightly feel its effects and still maintain my daily routine. I do wish I had kept notes about the changes I experienced but they were all good at a micro dosing volume. It resolved some depression issues I had been wrestling with, it ended my dependence on alcohol and other drugs in order to face the day. It changed my entire outlook on life and the world around me and the results stuck with me when I finally stopped dosing. No withdrawals, no cravings I just stopped doing it one day because I felt my journey had run its course. I think that more people could benefit from this but legality probably stops them along with all the horror stories. I am not saying to go do it, but if you do and you keep it at a micro level you may see more positive change than you expect.

Thank you for pointing out the greater value in eating good food as opposed to popping some pills. Thank you for pointing out it is the early days of this research, and results are very mixed. Thank you for making it clear it is a very complex subject.

I have MS, a neuro degenerative disease, that destroys myelin on the nerve pathways in the brain. My neuro doc told me to drink more caffeine, to help stave off "sundown" syndrome, where my brain slows down over the day, making the symptoms worse by late afternoon. It works. It's not a cure, and it only helps with symptoms for a couple of hours in the afternoon, but it's better than struggling to remember my passwords by 4pm.

In my late teens had shroom tea with my buds. Changed my entire outlook on life. Realized how beautiful it truly is. Accepted it all good and bad, that’s living.

My wife can remember every mistake that I’ve ever made and every word that I’ve ever said over the last 40 years. She reminds me all the time. 😂

As an Indian, a few more herbs (nootropics) are Bhringraj, Shankha pushpi (pea flower), and Giloy/Guduchi.. Not only do they have amazing brain effects but they also have a few other health benefits. And they have been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years.

How do they know their memories are real? I know a guy who claims to have done lots of things, driven an 18 wheeler, marching for civil rights and being arrested, graduating highest in his college class, was a football star, saved the lives of 6 black children drowning in a lake. These are just a few of the memories this guy has, there are so many, it's hard to believe: he was raised as a Black, Jewish, Irish Catholic. At any rate, he has all these crazy memories, but nothing to support them.
Nobody come forward to say "I remember that". Not even his child hood friend, named after a breakfast cereal or surreal.

Psychedelics are neither "highly dangerous" nor highly addictive". Do your own research
