Imagine if when you started wearing socks again, everything just started falling apart, like that was the actual secret to it all

My favourite quote is from Einstein. “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them”

I think I might also have to give this a go. The amount of sleep is a big selling point!

10:44 "But who was Einstein? Nobody believed in him, until everybody did. And it was the same guy all along, whether people believed in him or not." - Nathaniel Drew, 2021
(i loved the way you phrased this!)

This is crazy, i have been doing the routine, for all these years. Focus on my goal, sleeping late, napping, living purposely towards one end. Not conforming but staying open to suggestions and appreciating others uniqueness. I have endured many hardships. Different job after job. But i stay the course. The long road. Seems to be my desired path. And all this time i had no idea one of my most respected teachers was living a similar life, and maybe just maybe theres hope for me yet...thank you for creating such a great perspective on the life of Einstein.

I knew Einstein was a genius, but this video really shows how much he was a humanist as well.

I think there is a shift happening in the YT productivity mindset : it's going from doing more in as little time as possible to actually do as less as possible while being just as efficient as before. That means more time to rest, for leisure or anything else than work while having the same economic output.

My takeaway:
Stay consistent.
Be patient af.
Play the long game.
Be mindful about how you spend your time.
If it works for you, keep doing it; no matter what people say.

The timing of this video is excellent. I've been feeling guilty about not being able to follow the 8 hour work day standards and endlessly comparing myself to people who spend all day grinding at work. While I know that everyone works different and I believe that working 9-5 is an old system which isn't relevant anymore, I still wasn't able to convince myself that working at my own pace is actually OK. I lacked an example of successful people who didn't spend all day grinding and worked in a way that worked best for them. And I can't think of anyone better than Einstein to take example from. Thank you for making this video ♥

Einstein's habit of napping reminds me of the naps we used to(more like forced to) take in kindergarten. I say we bring back naps for us college students lol!
This was an interesting routine, and you made an amazing video out of it as always. As a physics student, you hear about Einstein all the time, so much that he becomes commonplace. This gives an interesting perspective we miss out!

One thing you left out about Einstein. One of the reasons why he slept so much. Was because he was a Dyslectic. His level of Dyslexia was pretty severe. Back then one of the ways to cope with Dyslexia was to sleep more the 8 hours a night and take napes. We really didn't know a lot about Dyslexia in the 30's or 40's. So many men that had it back then, they learned how to work around their disability. He was truly special in his ability to rise above his Disability and change the world for the better.

“What if productivity was actually something that looked nothing like the accelerated way we live and work in the 21st century?”

Wow. A deeply resonant quote for me and something I’ll continue to reflect on. Thank you!

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the incredible level of videography that Nathaniel has achieved and is putting out? His work has been getting better and better! Love this guy!

The videos where you emulate people's routines are my favorite. This may have been even better than the Leonardo Davinci video

I love this series. I have a hard timethroughout my life trying to understand people who appear to have no curiosity. How can you live in this world, no matter what corner of it, & not be curious about so many things? Thank you for demonstrating what living a curious life looks like. It is like adding the perfect ingredients to a recipe so that you don't just sate your hunger but you understand what an impact putting together just the right ingredients has on your meal--mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually.

I think it's really about being authentic. We're all special in our own ways, but we all run around trying to become something beyond ourselves. We're all capable of great things.

The only moustache look kinda looks good on you!

I recently changed some of my habits(not resting enough... basically the hustle culture), inculcated some new ones(mainly sleeping atleast 9 hours a day, walking a minimum of 7kms) and I have seen that I am much more calmer now, my mind seems a lot clearer somehow and I get way more work done even though I am resting a lot more than I did before.

Love these videos of yours!!!
