This is so nice! I have one bookshelf and that's full with books, so all my manga is being stored in bins and boxes, but when I do get more shelves, I definitely need to make these risers! Thank you for the tutorial!

Since I cant build a riser, I though "what else can I use" and I looked around and found tissue boxes and it worked! Im gonna use those as my risers instead.

I made one of these following your tutorial! I was worried about making them because the extent of my DIY knowledge is assembling ikea bookcases, but it turned out really well! I asked the guys at Lowes to cut my board for me (I did two legs instead of four, like you suggested at 8:34). I also used nails instead of screws, but i think they'll probably work fine, since my bookcases aren't going through nearly as much use as yours seem to be lol. Thanks for the really helpful guide!

I've seen those on Pinterest and always wanted to get them. Now if you dont have the money you can instead make them yourself a DIY. Definitely helps save space which in turn can save money for buy shelves.

It's great when they put the vol number in the middle of the spine so when you elevate, you can see the the numbers.
