Madam, 10 lakh ki policy me Survival benefit 8% ( Rs 80, 000) milehi, na ki Rs 2 lakh.
Please rectify it otherwise it will create a negative market for LIC

After PPT, if the person is alive then he will get 8% of basic sum assured. And you are telling it will be 20%.

You are sharing wrong info. It is 8%, not 20%. There are many people who blindly follow creators like you, at least for the sake of them, correct it. This is a lesson for everyone taking reference from YouTube platform, do your own research properly from official sources before & after taking any reference from unofficial sources.

Mam, pehle to ap apne ap ko update krlo.
Survival benefits are 8% not 20% of BSA.
DONT misguide people, this is one of the best plan that LIC has.

Those who are willing to buy this plans please see this plan from insurance perspective first.
As LIC is providing a good returns with insurance.
This plan provides increasing sum assured.
There are no tax on survival benefits.

Well explained mam. I have a serious question, those who don't have ITR more then 5 Lakh - those people don't get term insurance and those who don't want to invest in market link mutual. For those 8% guaranteed returns acceptable. And about jeevan umang. It's a pension + maturity plan. And much more.

Sometimes policy amount with respect to time is funny... Let's suppose mere papa (61 years today) ki policy mere baba ne Li hoti 1962 me.. us time pe paise chalte the.. to mere baba apni present life ko compromise karke ek bade amount ki EMI pay karte jo ki 5-7rs hoti.. to aj mere papa ko maturity benefit milta of sum assured + basic + Falana + dhimka of total 5-6000 rs. 😂😂
Mere baba Parlok se dekh ke apna sir Peet rhe hote ki isse achha to apni present life me hi thoda achhe se ji lete...
To sum this up.. guys don't go for a policy of 40-50 years or more.. us time apke sum assured ki value aj apke EMI ki value ke comparison me bhi sasti hogi.. go for shorter terms with maximum benefits..

@bekifaayati ... your research is bogus. You even didn't read the policy benefits properly and made a video claiming that insured will get 20% of sum assured till alive... That's absolutely incorrect. Stop spreading incorrect information. As per this policy after premium payment term, one will get 8% annual of sum assured until alive. You even did not have done basic home work.

I agree term policy of 50lacs is better then taking this policy 👍 thanks for the detailed explanation 😊

8% of the basic sum assured is paid yearly and not 20%. Please double check the policy documents

I was under the impression that LIC invests in safe assets like bonds, gold etc. but recently came to know that LIC invested in stock market. Loss of trust. Now I am even worried about my 16 lac already invested.

Return during survival period is 8% annually on Sum Assured not 20%.

Very nicely explained. if the objective is life coverage or better returns, then better go for term policies and invest in MFs or ETFs respectively. This kind of policies are just not worth it. The IRR at the end of the maturity period is pathetic as they dont even beat the inflation rate. Many of us are not aware of this aspect and simply fall for the marketing gimmics of these insurance companies.

Madam please read Jeevan umang document carefully
In this policy 8% of sum assured is returned as survival not 20%
LIC Ki image karab mat Karo *कि*
Later people will blame LIC when they will not get this return as described by you
This video will defame LIC image.

Hi

I am Arijit Kar, I am a policy holder of LIC's Jeevan Umang plan. My yearly premium is 2.6lacs per annum in Jeevan Umang. I have choosen 15 yrs as policy paying term. Can I get the money with full benefit at the end of the 15yrs? If I want to get total amount not as a pension. I need to get money at a time not in a pension scheme. Please let me know how much will I get in the 15th or 16th year?

Thanks and regards

Bhailog idar pighal mat jana, please research - and check rate of return - its only 4-5 % after 12-15 years, inflation 5% se badata hai dosto.

I think there is a mistake in understanding here. The minimum sum is 2L per year for 15 years. So essentially a person has to invest 30L. So the per year premium of ~7k is not an option.
