Sir this is how I worked it.

V = I x R
V= 0, 5× 20
= 10 volts .

Sir you are so helpful! I listened to what you said is that it divides potential(V) and i made a ratio(4:8) knowing the V1 = 4/12=15V, and 8/12x15=10V for V2!! Im so happy we got the same answer and I'm writing tomorrow and I'm actually excited! yay!
