The best thing about this table is the theme and music. Imagine making a new haunted house pinball with all sorts of visual illusions and hidden places, if only pinball industry is thriving today.

Pinball video withdrawal commences. :P

6:06 That was weird! There was around a .5 second delay between the two left flippers.

More pointless trivia from me!

I've actually seen a pretty awesome, modified Haunted House at a show that actually makes use of the lower level saucer and the middle-right saucer as 'ball locks', and actually allows the player to get a multiball going... which on this table is actually pretty chaotic. The table also implemented speech into the game. But because the chipset/synthesiser is shared between Black Hole and this game, it spoke with the same voice heard on Black Hole. Was very cool to see and hear though.

"I really don't know what to aim for." Yeah, that pretty much sums up my experience with this pinball table too. I love the theme and really enjoy playing Black Hole so I want to like it... but when I play this table I just feel there is little to no clear direction of what I need to do. So, I soon get bored and quit. LoL

Ouch! Not your fave?! This was the ONLY pinball machine I EVER liked...haven't seen since 1983.

For the sake of variation this is a nice challenging table. You can cradle balls.

What makes me sad about these video pinballs is I miss the fine tuned and trained jiggling of the machine on a real pin that becomes part of the strategy.  You know when the ball is about to go down the left or right side and you nudge the machine just right to send it the right way.  With these games unfortunately, the shake buttons just give it a random jiggle and in most cases if you are in a panic and u do a random jiggle, mathematically, a random jiggle is the same function as no jiggle at all, because it's random.  I wil say regarding this game, I love the idea of the second playfield down below.  And I like lots of flippers.   What I don't like is a top side flipper that is the only way to get a side ramp, and then they put the jackpot or somehting else very important on there.

Yeah, I like the theme of the table but the overall execution is kind of bland. This table probably would have benefited from a later 80s release with a dot matrix display and some spooky voice work.
