Thanks for using finance scenarios as an example. We're always dealing with CY, LY, Budget and Forecast and it's often a pain

Thanks for covering this right away. What I really look forward to is seeing the use cases people come up with over the next couple months

Brilliant as always Bas! You've managed to pack so many advanced concepts into half an hour. And explained each perfectly. So useful; thank you.

the problem with calculations groups i faced 2 years ago and i believe its still there is that you cant do conditional formatting as much as you would like. lets say we have calculation group for current period, prior period and % difference. Now highlighting green/red for the % is pretty painful.

Another really great and clear video! Thanks! One issue that came up to me in how you showed calculation groups is that in the matrix, there does not appear to be any header or title that shows the base measure was Actuals vs Forecast. This could lead to problems with end users if someone changes the base measure, forgets to change it back, and the rest of the team goes on making decisions on the report without knowing. Is there some built-in signal on the visual as to the base measure that you didn't show?

Great video. As it’s almost half an hour, it would be really useful if you could split it into chapters so we can skip to the parts of the video we need.

Awesome Video again, Bas - THANKS!
@Changing the model to allow Incremental Refresh: when you convert the fact table Date column to datetime: Did you ever come across any issues with the relationship from Date table [Date] to the Datetime-column of the fact table. E.G. filtering, Time intelligence etc. - and if so would you still need an additional date column in the facts table? Thanks again!

Thank you so much for going through each and every par of the semantic model. It was so overwhelming at first!

Hi,
I have power query table called "tbl_1".
I need to have another table called "tbl_2" sourcing data at "tbl_1" step no. 4.
There are other steps also after step#4. I don't want to duplicate table because it was decrease its efficiency. How can it be achieved without duplicating table?

This is brilliant! Finally I was able to grasp, how to set up an incremental refresh! Thanks a lot!

Thanks Bas for all your hard work!
5:55 Could we apply group calculations for the 2 measures (Rev Actual & Forecast) in the same table/matrix?
In your example, you only showed the case for one measure (Rev Actual OR Forecast)
Again, thanks a lot for all the brilliant work!

Good morning
Thank you for your videos are really very interesting,
I have a question: to export the Dashboard to Power Point without publishing it on the Power bi service, is there a way to do it
Thanks in advance

This is freaking the Semantic Model and BAS. Infact Bas is more awesome as I would not have understood any of it without this video. Thank you Bas
