Hello sorry I had a question, if your grandparents were born in the union of South Africa would this count as a UK territory ? And give any rights to grand children ? All my grandfathers served the UK armed forces in the war, in Egypt .My great grand father was a ambulance driver but I don't know if it was in any service if the queen .

My grandmother was born in a commonwealth country (Trinidad and Tobago) while it was still under British rule, does that make me, her grandson, eligible for the Ancestry visa?

Hi there . I can’t seem to find any information about anyone that’s done this before . My stepfather has ancestry in the UK because his dad was born there . If he adopts me at the age of 23 would I then be eligible for an ancestral visa ?

What if your parent or grandparent was a British citizen of the colonies rather than of the actual UK

Parents and grand parents who are born in British Guiana or any caribbean island before it was independant and they never went to England dose this they were never british citizen and can claim citizenship.
