Samsung's new, 2016 Galaxy A series have arrived and we have the Galaxy A7 (2016 edition) and Galaxy A5 (2016) undergoing our testing. We were particularly curious to see how good are their cameras and to get a better idea, we compare them against each other and against the popular Apple iPhone 6s for reference.

a7/6 is same label of iphone 6s plus, a5/6 as 6s. but samsung is much faster than iphone & 2 ways cheeper

Your review saved my life! A5 and A7 (like samsung in general) can shoot good photos but definitely too cold and washed out. Iphone is super realistic and that's why I prefer its photos.

iphone 6s photos were better ofcourse its better as it is very expensive but for the price galaxy A7 2016 is better overall

Is it possible to get better dynamic range on A5/A7 using pro mode? Or any picture is going to have white sky no matter what? Just curious, since I know A5/A7 both have ability to tweak it. Thanks

A5/6 and A7/6 are better than 6s front and rear camera. But 6s wins in the night pictures. My opinion.

Samsung's A5 & A7 colour productions on a photo is more natural tone than apple IPhone 6s. Tho some shots of the iPhone e 6s's blue sky are somewhat better.
Overall, I have to go with the Galaxy A5/A7.

Truth be told, I like the mic of the A7 better. Yes, it doesn't cancel out the back noise as well as the iphone, but the voice from the iphone just sounds so "mushy" and not so clear.

a5 2016 can take some great shots but you need to enable HDR mode, which in IP6S is automatic. then photos would be comparable

I spent ₹53k on iPhone 5s...but what I got a non 720p hd 4inch screen... Screen is main part of any phone. Still after 2 years Apple still offering 4.7 in 62k....This little thing doesn't work much without wifi 😫😫😫
