Congrats on your channel. Great to finally have a channel on vintage! What is your feeling on laser welding to tweak some lug wear on a case? Matching the case material with the same 316 L or 904L case material a talented technician may bring almost any case back to NOS condition. Aside from disclosure of such, do you see any issues or red flags with having this done?

One watch for life, hmmmm? The Bakelite 1675 was a solid choice for a GMT enthusiast, but a bit fragile for my taste. I’m thinking that either a Cornino or 6265 would be my OWFL. On a related note, this was absolutely fantastic content and it has motivated me to subscribe. I sincerely hope that you remain focused and continue to provide such insightful vintage commentary.

HI Menta watches, Your videos are just so good and informative with your vast knowledge. I have a question but don't know your instagram to pass the question. My question is, I heard from people that retrogate movements usually have more problems than normal mechanism and must bring to dealers to have it service! Is it true. Thanks

I guess you are wearing a vintage Omega Seamaster Chrono Bullhead. Thank you for educating the community about vintage watches. I want to share that vintage watches is not only about "high end" brands like Rolex, AP, PP which commands top dollar. There are also many other brands at the entry price that also bring quite some satisfaction and some maybe future sleepers as well ( as example : I bought a vintage Enicar Aquagraph V.72 many years ago, now the price has tripled in value ). Of course buy the condition but sometimes due to rarity on some vintage watches, we have to accept what beeing offered at the corresponding price.

My question: Would you give a Rolex from the 60s or 70s to Rolex to service it? Just to make sure it works properly for a long time to come?
Would that potentially devalue the watch in some way if they do too much? Should I give them very clear instructions in terms of what to do and what not to do? What's your opinion on that?
