BLUE LOCK

Throughout the Bastard Munchen & PXG match, our comprehension of EGO has evolved and transcended from what we originally thought.

We have learned that EGOISTS can be categorized within two types: world type and self type egoists.

The world-type egoists are players who aspire to win high accomplishments like trophies, so they can show their value to the world. While the self-type egoists are players who seek the pleasure of fulfilling their stories in the way they want.

Not only that but these egoists will also fall into an ego environment: the two types are FREEDOM & RESTRICTION.

The players situated in the Freedom environment tend to be free thinkers, these players find it easier to display their abilities by coming up with multiple scenarios and then choosing the best one out of those options.

While the players who are placed in the Restriction environment are the complete opposite. These players excel once they are given a fixed role and faithfully follow a task until it is accomplished.

These concepts have shown us that EGOISM is much grander than we originally expected. AND by utilizing all of this information, we can categorize every player’s ego type and environment.

WHICH WE WILL BE DOING TODAY! IN THIS VIDEO, we will be guessing the ego types of the Blue Lock players within the Bastard Munchen team.

Hiori is a world type egoist in the freedom ego environment. It was clear that Hiori is a world type egoist, during his first match against Ubers, he was shown in a panel where he said “ he wanted to be the center of the world”. Meaning he was keen on showing his abilities to the world and to the team.

Also, Hiori is the type of playmaker that can shift things around the field with his own will and create his own game winning formulas. Like we mentioned earlier, this is already confirmed through an epiphany that Isagi had back in Chapter 254. But Hiori is definitely a free thinker who likes to create many different scenarios where he can excel. So it's easy to see why he is a world type freedom egoist.
