Vince is one of the best storytellers there is, and as good as he is telling stories in his songs he might be better when he's just talking about things.

My favorite is “The day my dad met Dolly”. His stories makes his live shows even better! Please do it Don, it is priceless!

OMG...this is how we parented AND our adult kids thank us for it. We lived in a small town and at the beginning of each school year, I showed the kids the permission slip that they could get paddled at school. It was never needed.

My dad and Vince's must have gone to the same parenting school! Great story, thanks for sharing.

That’s some of the funniest shit I’ve ever heard!

That was pretty funny! Reminds me how much things have changed in our society and how different average Dads are today. Alot of small towns have gotten rid of corporal punishment (not ours), zero-tolerance on fistfighting, all racial and gay jokes are prohibited, and public prayer? yep almost gone too! Is this progress? Will we shape better adults? Will violence decrease as a whole in our society? All tough questions...

My Dad taught me how to drive the old stick shift snub nose Econoline van around the fields so I could get up at 4:00 am and pick sweet corn.

Lol! Sounds like my old old coot he is! Even now at 77yrs of age, he still tries to pull on young fellas when he gets a pi$$ed off in the car. As mum says, "sometimes old lions gotta roar to prove to themselves they're still lions"! This one was good fun - havva great day Don.

Where is the story where Vince talks to his dad about meeting Dolly in Nashville? It's the same show.

What happened to the video of him talking about his dad meeting dolly?

Whoever redid this video made a mess of it. The original video is just of Vince talking, I don’t understand why they thought someone was needed to speak on this video.

I love Vince’s stories. He is very funny. But we don’t need your face and mouth butting in or your image on the screen. Let Vince tell the story then you can make your comments if needed! For that reason I won’t subscribe or give a thumbs up.
