Tip for hard mode granny 2: when you wake up immediately use the iron maiden twice so that both granny and grandpa go downstairs, then go upstairs to the kitchen first and check the microwave, then go into the dining room and check the cabinet next to the master bedroom door, then check the master bedroom for the stun gun. if you don't find it there then use the stairs from the master bedroom to the living room, then go outside and check the underground area for the stun gun. If it isn't there either it's in the crate in the spawning location, and in that case the weapon key for the shotgun spawns in the drawer in the corner of the dining room.

Another tip: Grandpa cannot hear items being dropped, except for the black and white vase next to the piano.

Tip for shotgun ammo: The shooting game in the helicopter attic will respawn shotgun ammo forever until you shoot all 3 targets, so if you're going for the helicopter escape get all the items first and only finish the target game when you're ready to escape. You'll need the glass fuse, the duct tape, the fuel, the helicopter key as well as the helicopter manual.

I know this is kind of drawn out but it does help, it was one of the reasons I was able to beat extreme mode!
