Purple Thunder is a Mountain Dew flavor that was released as a fountain Circle K exclusive in April 2022, with 20 ounce bottles released in early May. Purple Thunder is a Berry Plum flavor of Mountain Dew. Its color is purple, hence its name.

I’ve always heard the price difference between 2 liters and 20 ounce bottles are due to the 20 ounce bottles being refrigerated. Don’t know if that’s true, but that’s what I’ve heard.

I love plums. Havent been able to try it yet. Right after I signed up for the Circle K drink club, now the store in town cant find enough people to work and they are closing the store at 3pm!

What a minute... you've NEVER had a plum???🤔 It's not like they're hard to find.

Anyway, I'm not a huge health freak but I do stay active (ride my bike about 60 miles a week) and watch what a eat and drink. 73 grams of sugar in one drink is simply ridiculous.
