How to Get to Great Khan Encampment (EASY WAY) Without Fighting Deathclaws - Fallout New Vegas

How to avoid deathclaws ripping your face off while making your way to the Great Khan Encampment and Melissa in Fallout New Vegas.

What you'll need: two stealth boys and five minutes of your time.

If you're playing the quest, Oh My Papa, then you've probably run into this problem. How to get to the Great Khan Encampment without running into deathclaws?

You've probably noticed that the area south of the Great Khan Encampment is blocked off by a huge mountain and infested with giant radscorpions.

You've probably noticed that the area north of the Great Khan encampment (Quarry junction & the surrounding wasteland) are completely overrun with deathclaws, who will kill the shit out of you on sight.

Maybe you're frustrated and giving up hope that you'll ever reach Melissa, so that you can tell her Caesar's Legion is going to screw over the Khans. I mean - how are you going to enlist the Great Khans to fight by your side in the battle of Hoover Dam after all?

Well, fear no more! Today I'm going to show you how to stealth boy your way to the Great Khan Encampment and not fight a single enemy (deathclaws, cazadores, radscorpions, etc).

I went up the path opposite the Vault 19 car park. After 3 tries of going up through the DC pack using various strategies such as run'n'gun (died quickly) and stealth sniping (killed one but then the rest came and I died quickly), I tried sneaking around them and up to the top cliff then along until I came to the path. Easy.
Also, fun fact: I recognised a familiar Kiwi accent when I met the Great Khan character Melissa up at that encampment. Turns out the voice actor is New Zealand actor and stuntwoman Zoë Bell (Kill Bill etc.)

There's a little shortcut to the road next to the Goodsprings cemetery. I decided to go that route and got stuck for about 10 straight minutes trying to get past those massive-ass wasp things. When I finally got mast them, I felt so relieved. I took the path up the hill unprepared for anything

Omg this helped a lot I died like 5 times trying to get through but this helped me. I fo recomend next time showing locations of stealth boys because I didn't have any at the time and used a different vid to find them. But thank you alot

I tried this without a stealth boy by getting the cazadors to aggro with the deathclaws. I popped some turbo and it gave me *just enough* time to speak to melissa and fast travel out before the deathclaws could re-aggro and come after me and the Khans. I think the stealth boy idea seemed much easier than the way i did it (took 10+ deaths to get it right)
