Something thats practical for me and easy for my wife to help me practice outside the gym. Great idea.

AJ demonstrating an underrated skill: breathing on every moving. Lots of beginners don’t breath during movement and get gassed out. Sounds silly but I see it all the time.

Shane ur videos have helped me so much not just with fighting but with anti-bullying and also giving me inspiration to post videos on my account and have confidence in it as well

You know something brother, I've been in this racket for years. I know talent when I see it, you may not be a great fighter competitively, ( not saying you can't fight or that you can't kick ass, which I'm sure you can handle your self ) But your have talent dripping out your pores as a trainer.

Great drill to try! Pool noodles are life when I teach kids martial arts! Love your vids guys! Could you do a video on some simple drills that can be done when students are paired instead of with instructor? Would love to then try them in class! #longtimesub #firsttimecommenter #MrAsNinjaArmy

Love it. Do you mind if I steal some of these to use in my women’s training class?
I need some low impact training aids and these will be cheap enough to supply the entire class with.

I got some PEX tubing and Gorilla glued it into some noodles leaving 1.5" unfilled on the end. You can then use them for jabs and the pex makes them a bit stiffer, so you can use them for kicks. I also drilled a hole in a 2x4 and can stick a handle end of the pex into the wall, to practice duck unders and stuff. These are good for kids to be able to practice taking shots without hurting them.

This is a brilliant idea. I don't have anyone to practice or work out with but my wife can easily do this type of stuff.

Guy from my gym has me do this with him after class sometimes, with the addition of footwork. It's definitely a good way to practice
