Tutorial: Construct 2 - How to embed your HTML5 project

This tutorial explains how to embed/display your Construct 2 creation in/on your website with the use of an iframe. It is similar to the tutorial titled How to embed an HTML5 game on your website but gives a little more explanation.

Is there a way to detect non HTML5 browsers and serve a static graphic instead, something maybe that says 'You need to update your browser to...' with links to browser download pages?

Hey digitalsketchguy, when you export your project with the HTML5 exporter. The message you mention above should automatically be generated into the exported webpage. Since the programme won't run if the browser can't run it, you have to have external html code to detect and place the image or message.

Sorry I was being skeptical, I did found the link with other link with the page of the actual iframe code, and did worked when I embeded the game in my php page.

You need to host your game on your own server, or somewhere on the internet. Then when you put it onto Kongregate, you use the web url address to the index file in the html export. I hope that helps.
