In this Dr. Squatch bar soap versus Dr. Bronner's bar soap review, I compare these 2 natural bar soaps head to head and tell you which bar soap brand I prefer. I also got feedback from my family about their favorite Dr. Squatch bar soap scents and I share that here too.

I've been using Dr. Bronner's bar soaps for up to 20 years. I say up to, because I started out using their bottled castile soaps close to 20 years ago and I can't remember when I first tried their bar soaps. One way or another, I'm a big fan of Dr. Bronner's and when I started this review, I felt that Dr. Bronner's had the best organic soap. (Spoiler alert! I still think Dr. Bronner's makes the best organic soap.)

I would consider myself an organic soap connoisseur, considering I've tried so many of them.

Up until recently I had never considered trying Dr. Squatch soap because I didn't think the ingredients would be great. Recently my son started using Dr. Squatch soap and I asked him where he got it. I learned my nephew had been using Squatch soaps and he'd given a bar to my son.

Because I like my kids to use body care products with high quality ingredients, I decided to look into Dr. Squatch to see what kind of ingredient standards they had. I was pleasantly surprised to find out Dr. Squatch had good quality ingredients and decided to try it out and compare it to Dr. Bronner's. That's how we got here to this Bronner vs Squatch soaps review.

I gave the Dr. Squatch soaps a 5 day test with my whole family and I used the Squatch soaps exclusively. I used them for my face and body, and I feel pretty good about them. The downside is, I think my skin was slightly drier after 5 days than I'm used to it being using Dr. Bronner's.

I was curious to see how long a bar of Dr. Squatch soap would last, because I was reading reviews and some of the reviewers said Squatch soaps didn't last long. Based upon how much Squatch soap our family of 5 used over 5 days, I'd say a bar could last up to 50 days, but to be conservative, I'd say you could easily get 30 days out of a bar with just one person using it. Too make it last, don't leave it where it gets soaked every time you take a shower.

The bottom line is, I like Dr. Squatch and Dr. Bronner's soaps. I still think Dr. Bronner's makes the best natural bar soaps, but I feel good about using either brand, because they both have high quality natural ingredient standards.

I hope my Squatch VS Bronner's bar soaps review and comparison gives you some good insight into which soap might be a better choice for you.

The Dr Squatch Soap Dried the Heck out of my Skin, used it once, and never again.

Thank you for these family product reviews. One thing I have noticed in ALL natural soap reviews is that none discuss the AMOUNT of scent in each soap. I was excited to try Dr. Squatch products but ALL of their scents are TOO STRONG! I don't have sensitive skin but do have severe scent allergies. Dr. Squatch worked well but I left every shower with a severe headache and dizziness due to strong scents. Note also that Dr. Squatch does NOT offer Unscented products at this time (late 2024). I can tolerate SOME Dr. Bronner soap scents, but find the Unscented castile to work the best for me.

I'm comparing these two brands now. Love the scent and lather of Dr. B. You can use it as a shampoo as well.

So you mentioned that dr bronner's soap is ALMOST all organic. Thats makes me think what small details about dr bronner's soap stops it from being completely all organic?

Dr S soaps weigh between 3.7-4.5oz with the box. They are screwing us if you buy in bulk. I buy from the soap guy, his bars weigh 5oz + with no box, all natural and more than half the price. With shipping youll pay $32 for a loaf=9 bars about $3.50 per bar, if you spend over $80 no shipping and it comes out to like $2 per bar $18 for a loaf of 9 bars. Thats the way to go imo. Stay safe all.

It depends on the bar from Dr.Squatch the bars are 98-100% natural. Meaning some bars are 98-99 and 100% natural. As far as that 2-3% I wouldn't be too concerned seeing as Dr.Squatch is so gun ho about natural, they most likely aren't using things that are bad for the human body.

Dr bronners is ok, but its not all natural like squatch, and the quality isnt all there compared to squatch.

Dr Squatch has Sydney Sweeney on their commercials. Therefore, being influenced by her gorgeousness it's Dr Squatch for me.
