Hearing Aid Glasses of the FUTURE

This is precisely what I'm looking for. I just wish it had a tailor made mode for the hospital and Operating Room so it would ignore loud beeping sounds, and the ever constant sound of suction.
Also, I couldn't buy them on the website since it says it isn't FDA approved yet for the USA, however I'd love to try a pair out someday.

My first GOOD HAs were eyeglass aides. I got them in Junior High and they really made a difference for me. I blossomed and became a Class Clown too. They had some big drawbacks though. If I took my glasses off I was deaf, and if I took my HAs out I was blind. These apparently are for mild to moderate hearing loss. They would not serve me today. I didn't see any tubing. I don't know how these work anyway.
Hearing Aides have come along way from when I first started wearing them. As aggravating as they can be they have still been a blessing.

I can’t wait. Really. I needed new aids now and got the Phonak. I’ve always thought directional eyeglasses were the way to go. Now with the Phonak after a week, I’m not so sure.

My concern would be that if you lose them you'll lose both your eyesight and your hearing.
If something breaks or needs repair, you'll be without both functionalities.
I think I'd really want a backup pair of glasses and hearing aids.

My grandfather had hearing aid glasses back in the mid 80s. He didn't wear them often, only when he went out for socially.

I’m curious. Was the increase in battery charge duration (3 hours → 8 hours) due to software (efficiency) or did they indeed make hardware design changes for a LARGER CAPACITY BATTERY in this iteration?

How do these glasses work when virtually all hearing aids have the speaker going into the ear canal?

Do the devices work better on Android, or the Apple system? Also, will nuance actually market the devices to audiologists, or just to eyewear providers?

Unfortunately, my PD is 73mm. If I walk into any eyeglass store, there are at most 1-2 frames that fit nicely. Can’t imagine them making extra wide eyeglasses with hearing aids. 😢

Needing both eyeglasses and hearing aids, i believe this could be beneficial. I do have a few concerns about what happens when your vision changes and new lenses . I just ordered new eyeglasses yesterday and due to the cyclone activity in the Northwest, there is a delay of three or more weeks to get the eyeglasses made. While i realize this is an unusual occurrence, if i was dependent on the glasses being both my eyes and ears, i would not be able to do without either one for that period of time. I would think that would mean i would need loaner hearing aids as loaner eyeglasses are not a thing yet or a second pair of this hearing aid/eyeglass hybrid. Also eight hours does not seem like a long enough wear time. I wear my glasses approximately 17 hours a day and my hearing aids 15 hours a day with a booster charge of my hearing aids after 12 hours. I also am not fond of the idea of having another app on my phone and concerns about the bugs and fixes that will have to be made on the first version. I would want to see more information and trial a pair to see the advantage of this combination.

How would this work for folks with multiple pairs of glasses that are needed in different situations?

Doctor Cliff I would like to wear Hearing Aids Glasses if they were Ultra Power. I think that it would make people not notice my Hearing Aids as much but I am not sure how they would work with my Earmolds and I need bigger Receivers because I need more Amplification possible now to hear with. But it would be good if they helped me hear Speech with the background sounds around me because I do not hear Speech.
