Osram night breaker plus vs regular H4 bulb test

This is a headlight h4 bulb test. I compared the Osram night breaker plus bulb to a regular H4 bulb. The car is a '94 Mercedes e class. It was raining and there was some fog as well.

Looking at the two screens together, especially on the last 'down the drive' shots, It looks to me like the camera was set to 'auto' exposure because the detail in the car's speedometer is less distinct in the right hand image...Which means there was more light coming from outside the car on that side and the camera's 'iris' was more shut to get the correct exposure. if you test lights in this way you MUST set your camera to manual exposure otherwise it'll simply auto-correct all light levels to look the same!!!

great comparison video! It would appear that the Night breaker lights are a bit brighter and not just whiter like some people claim.

I have been using them for approx 5500 km. Still works.

It is definitely more white, and you can see more as well. I think it is makes a huge difference for older cars.

No relays need. Simply change the bulb and it works.

I got these a month ago . Everyone says the last much less as it says on the package but how much is that less . I do only about 10000km per year so can they last a year ?

Try to adjust the headlight. It might not be properly set.

"whiter" bluer lights are WORSE for visibility and MUCH worse for blinding oncoming drivers (who might hit you).

The problem with all this white lights is when it rain and asphalt is black u dont see a shit. I had this lights and i replace it back with a standart one
