In this video, we are taking a look at India's first subscription-based TV. This is the Dor TV, which has an initial cost of ₹10,000 for the 43" 4K QLED model and then a monthly subscription cost of ₹799, with which you will get access to 24+ OTT services and 300+ TV channels including Amazon Prime Video, JioCinema, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sony LIV and more. In terms of connectivity, you get 3 HDMI ports (One with eARC) and the 40W Dolby Audio Speakers are very good for the price. You also get a 4-year warranty for this TV.

This is an interesting approach to making 4K TVs more affordable, but is the subscription model worth it? We talk about everything in detail, so watch the entire video.

Or order from website

Don't mislead consumers, it might lead to your downfall, if something is bad say it's bad 3:27, bleed is not that bad? You can light a whole house with that kind of bleed. Learn from TW for being honest and doing the math correct.

Basically, they are procuring and dumping a VERY Cheap 4K TV with a VA panel that's locked at 60Hz. Then, they are recovering the "Cost" of the TV upfront. Thereafter, they want to ensure "subscribers" keep paying for MULTIPLE subscriptions for at least a YEAR.
From a hardware perspective, this is the "Cheapest" 4K TV, but NOT for consumers. An unknown bargain-bin processor, just 1.5GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage (less than 4GB useable), with no Netflix subscription included, is a VERY BAD DEAL.
Indian Consumers can easily find a decent 43-inch 4K TV for a similar price, with the freedom to choose subscriptions, and no lock-in period that's TIED to a Warranty.
Consumers WILL NOT get true 4K Streaming as this TV won't play 4k resolution content as this TV is restricted to basic 1080p content.
AND, don't forget the Proprietary App Store, which could be a HUGE privacy issue. This also means a locked-down ecosystem that won't allow playing local content on VLC or MX Player.
And @Beebom is suggesting this is a Good Deal... Seriously?

Without netflix and google store they launched a tv…surely someone wanted this to flop

What's the point of the TV being 4k if the OTT plans only let you access 1080p content?

Just because they pay you don't fool customers. This is a crap TV from unreliable company and they will lock your TV if you don't subscribe. Done spread false news for your own benifit.

When you represent new brand than you should show service center & customer support also... Many people depend on your opinion...

This isn't going to work in India. Most Indians want a sense of ownership which doesn't work with the disconnection without subscription, and on top of that users don't use all the OTTs mentioned so the monthly subscription cost will be lower for most.

How is the display quality? also is regular TV channel streaming available with this? Also, will the monthly subscription amount be same after 1 year?

What about after 1st year? Do we still have to keep buying their subscription or we can use our own? I use only Jio, hotstar and amazon. 799 is expensive for that
